Introduction to The Green Project
The Green Project is a social initiative led by Alejandra Fabiana Vargas Reyna, a 10-year-old with a strong commitment to protecting the Amazon. This project focuses on collecting and recycling plastic bottles in Iquitos, transforming waste into opportunities for local communities.
Mission and Objectives
Our mission is to reduce plastic pollution while supporting Amazonian families. By recycling discarded materials, we raise funds to provide school supplies and organize festive campaigns for children in remote areas. This initiative also educates the younger generation about environmental responsibility and community support.
Activities and Impact
The Green Project actively engages local residents and visitors in plastic collection efforts. Each recycled bottle contributes to funding educational resources and special events, such as Christmas celebrations for children. Through these activities, we aim to foster a culture of sustainability and solidarity within the region.
How to Get Involved
Everyone can make a difference! Visitors can participate by donating recyclable materials or contributing to our fundraising initiatives. By supporting this Project, you help create a cleaner Amazon and bring joy to its communities.
